Summary: The house is a small former utility house on a cottage, I suppose. Our arrival was refreshingly easy, Mme Oskam is very friendly and showed us around, immediately offered a cup of coffee or tea. In a short, heart-warming conversation she told us the many various sights in the region which should be visited. Everything works in the house as it should. The kitchen is small but does its job quite well. Even for a dinner with with several courses there are enough tools, dishes and so on. For a barbecue is a grill provided in the shed. The region is just awesome, in quite its literal sense. The house is sited in the middle of fields and woods, so you can hear sometimes wild animals speaking to each other. Anyhow we didn't encounter them personally so no worries of being attacked (if that was the case for their fear of humans) The landscape overall is formed by several rivers and and steep hills. Most of the rivers join the Dordogne in their current somewhere. Small extremely beautiful villages at pecked all over the map of which each and everyone is a sight to see if its own.
