3 Bedroom Cottage in Huron-Kinloss
This beautiful newly-renovated cottage in Lurgan Beach, (south of Kincardine, is nestled amongst other cottages, and is just steps away (~200 m) from a gorgeous, sandy Lake Huron beach. We use this as a family cottage and rent a couple of weeks a year. You can hear the waves from the cottage.

Three well-appointed bedrooms comfortably accommodate 6-8 in two downstairs queen rooms and an upstairs loft with 2 double beds. The master bedroom has ensuite bathroom and private doors to the back deck. There is a second 3-piece bathroom on the ground floor, and a laundry. (septic-safe detergent provided)
The well-equipped kitchen provides all the dishes and utensils you will need for both inside and outside dining and cooking. We provide basic spices, dish soap and garbage/recycling bags for your convenience. For morning coffee, you can choose from our percolator, pod coffee machine or 4-cup coffee press. As well, we have a starter provision of toilet paper, paper towel and facial tissue.
Linens include sheets, bath towels, tea towels, hand towels, blankets and pillows. Renters will provide their own beach towels.
The open space living-dining area allows plenty of seating and an electric fireplace for cool nights.
Outside, there are plenty of comfy chairs (both sun and shade), barbecue (propane provided) and a beautiful fire pit area with Muskoka chairs. It is a beautiful place to have a fire and watch the stars. An inviting outdoor screened room adds extra space for dining or a fun games room. It is designed to maximize the cool lake breezes, and is a comfy space for a kids get-away or a quiet reading nook. A convenient mini fridge provided extra drink storage.
Plenty of games (both lawn and indoor) and beach toys and chairs are provided, and a nearby tennis/pickle ball/basketball court and playground offer fun alternatives (with equipment provided).
This cottage is a place you will want to return to every year. You will feel at home as soon as you arrive and will want to make this your vacation of choice. The beach is perfect, and the nearby towns of Amberly, Kincardine, Goderich and Point Clarke are interesting to explore or pick up supplies.
We are no pets allowed (sorry). We love pets but have family members with significant allergies and know there are other renters who may have the same.
Rogers Ignite 500 (high speed internet) is provided and there are two TVs in the cottage: one in principal bedroom with HDMI hookup which can be used with a laptop, and one in main area that uses Stream app for easy login to any of your digital streaming accounts such as Netflix, Disney+, etc.
