This secluded cabin rental is located in Golden Lake, Ontario, and can accommodate four guests. With its remote setting, immersive natural surroundings, a complimentary canoe, a nearby swimming beach five kilometers away, and direct access to 30 kilometers -18.6 miles - of forested hiking trails. The cabin provides guests with an opportunity to reconnect to the great outdoors and enjoy a peaceful, revitalizing getaway to the Ottawa Valley. The cabin is 700m from the parking area, shuttle provided for you and or your gear:)Inside the one-room cabin, guests will find a queen-size bunk bed set, a side bench, and a table, all of which were handcrafted from local cedar. Other amenities include a propane fireplace, solar lighting, two folding indoor/outdoor chairs, a coffee pot, barbecue utensils, a dish tub, and a charging station. Guests are also provided with a see-through umbrella and a first-aid kit. Bedding is available as an add-on package, or guests can bring their own. Outside, guests will find a deck, a barbecue grill, a campfire pit, a picnic table, an outhouse, and a canoe with life jackets and paddles(25 min hike). The cabin is nestled in the surrounding woods, where it is set on top a rocky oak ridge from which guests will enjoy scenic views of Golden Lake and the Bonnechere Valley.Although the retreat is located in a remote area, guests will enjoy excellent cell phone coverage thanks to a cell tower that has been built on the property. The off-grid solar cabin has a cozy propane fireplace for guests to keep warm during a winter stay. Guests can purchase a "Couples Package" or bring their own bedding. Other supplies and equipment for enjoying the great outdoors include a first-aid kit, and see-through umbrellas. Around the Golden Lake cottages site, guests will have access to a picnic area and a private fire pit as well as 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) of marked multi-use trails, one of which leads down to a quiet forest lake. Guests will also have access to a canoe with life jackets and paddles.
