Welcome to Bells’ Dream Lake House on pristine Bells Bay on Bark Lake near the town of Barry’s Bay! Bark Lake has recently added a feeder trail (Club Trail 156) to the RAP Tour Loop allowing easy access without having to drive.
*****NOTE***** SNOWMOBILERS - WE ARE OFFERING A MUCH LESS STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY DURING THE WINTER. As much as a stay at the cottage would be fun no matter the weather, we understand you may not want to come up if there is not enough snow for your snowmobile trip.
For any reservation for a stay from January 6th until April 30th, we are offering a full refund if cancelled prior to one week before the arrival day.

Your hosts are Tania and Eric Nash. We have travelled for years and always loved staying in a private house vs a hotel or resort. We bought and renovated a chalet in Alberta, sold it and then did it again for an apartment on a hillside in Tuscany! The beauty of the Algonquin Park area of Ontario has always been a draw for us so we decided to build a Lake House that we could enjoy with our family and friends and allow others to enjoy it as well!
We found a great lot with sunset exposure and built what we hope is a cottage that your family and friends will enjoy as much as we do!
Multiple areas for entertaining and relaxation. Fire pit, sauna, and incredible views from the dock and deck.
The fire pit has 10 Muskoka chairs and a bench for sitting around the fire. We offer a good supply of dried wood so you can enjoy several fires.
Summertime offers plenty of fun at the lake! We have several personal watercraft to get everyone out there. We have a canoe, a two person kayak, 2 fishing kayaks, a children's kayak, a single adult kayak, and 2 stand up paddleboards!
NOTE: Summer Rentals are Sat- Sat, 7 night bookings only.
We have a large 8 foot by 60 foot permanent dock and a 12 foot by 24 foot floating dock with sun umbrellas so you can get some shade on those hot days!
Lots of outdoor games including cornhole, ladder toss, giant connect 4, giant Jenga, bocce, badminton, and horseshoes!
Inside we have large areas for the group to relax and enjoy times inside. The inside dining area features a large live edge dinner table that seats 10 with 3 stools at the nearby breakfast bar for overflow. On the large wraparound deck we also have a covered outdoor dining area for your use.
We offer 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms. In the loft area, one bedroom with a Queen and one bedroom with two extra long twins. A bathroom with double vanity and shower is in the loft. There is also "Nan's Nook” featuring a comfortable Queen mattress for relaxing and extra room for sleeping.
The main floor bedroom has a king mattress and an ensuite washroom with a double vanity and wet room that has soaking tub and shower.
The walk out basement also has a bedroom with a king size mattress. This room has sliding glass doors with a view through the Muskoka room to the lake. Another full bathroom is next to the bedroom.
Note: Not available in winter: We have recently added "Sammy's Shack", a 18' x 14' bunkie that sleeps 4 comfortably (single over queen and double over double). It has power and a split AC/Heater to control the temperature during the 3 seasons that it is available for use (not Winter). Beautiful lake views and 20 feet from the main cottage.
The basement features a pool table with a ping pong table conversion top. Also another living room area with a smart TV.
Under the expansive porch is the Muskoka Room, a screened in area for pest free lounging and playing games or engaging in conversation.
Open the door from the Muskoka Room to reach the 6 person dry/wet sauna. Enjoy the Finnish Sauna Ritual of jumping in the lake after some time in the sauna! (Summer only)
The kitchen offers practically everything you could need to prepare a gourmet meal for your group. We also have a large Napoleon grill to BBQ.
We have a large parking area for your vehicles and lots of room to turn around trailers for your boat, ATVs, snowmobiles, etc.
