3 Bedroom House in Rimrock, Sedona
More than just a home to stay in. This comfortable 3 bedroom Spanish Adobe style home has a spacious layout with a large patio on two levels. The upper level contains a Saloon style two stool bar, a pellet grill, and a large outdoor Texas style fireplace with pre stacked firewood.( Note: Due to wild fires County laws restrict camp fires to ones located in a grill or fireplace.)
The lower area has a stone walkway surrounded by grass and other vegetation that provides a very private entertaining experience. A spinning windmill on the south lawn adds to the western ambiance as does the entire property.
The three bedrooms all have new mattresses and each have 3 sets of high quality linen.
So the maximum amount of guest can be 6 guest in any child/ adult combination.
NOTE: For sanitary reasons, if your children have a bed wetting problem you must use the host supplied mattress protector located in the linen closet. It is reusable by machine washing and drying it.
If the mattress protector is not used and the mattress becomes wet / soiled then Hotel standards require us to replace the soiled mattress with a fresh one. Unfortunately this would be done at the guest expense via the credit card on file with VRBO. Damages are limited to $1,000. Guest can protect themselves and their credit by purchasing the VRBO damage insurance.
Situated less than ten minutes from the Cliff Castle Casino and the historic cliff dwellings of Montezuma Castle In Camp Verde there is plenty to do and see.
Sedona and all it offers is a short fifteen minutes away. The Artist community not only provides a treasure trove of locally made merchandise shops but has some of the finest dining in Arizona. Located alongside Sedona's RT 89A is Cottonwoods scenic Old Town. It is the new home (still under construction at this time) of Arizona's largest and jaw dropping Caduceus Cellers.
Continue driving North on I-17 brings you in short order to the scenic mountain town of Flagstaff. Enjoy hiking in the the deep Ponderosa pine forest of Fort Tuttle or go fishing at nearby Lake Mary.
Flagstaff also offers a winter wonderland for snow boarders and skiers at their famous ski resort high up on the San Fransisco mountain that overlooks the town.
Besides hiking, real horseback riding and exploring ancient Indian ruins there is much more to do here than can be written about in this limited space. We have tried our hardest to provide a clean, safe and comfortable home for you to stay in during your time with here.
FYI, this is the country, many homes here are not on the paved highway and like any dirt / gravel road are subject to uneven surfaces due to the elements. Locals consider this a blessing as this keeps Sunday drivers from sightseeing and promotes privacy but can result in the need of a car wash. Yavapai County maintains our roads but waiting for the grader to smooth them out... Well it's a Government thing.
Your vacation dollars go much further renting on the outskirts of Sedona yet it's only minutes up the road from this property.
