Positive: The location is excellent and it's what you're paying for! I was in Paris for work events and needed a centrally located place to stay for 2 nights, so this place worked very well for the location.

Negative: This is a tricky one. I want to be fair in my review but also very honest. Getting the keys was complicated because I had to call a phone number and spoke to someone who was the son of the person who was taking care of the studio. He came out onto the street and took me inside. He spoke very little English and my French is super limited so we had to rely on Google Translate. If I hadn't had an int'l calling plan I would have been stuck. The studio is very small and my first impression was not good because the floor (specifically the rug) was very dirty, full of food crumbs (maybe chips?, or it looked like pizza crust). The bed is the sofa, so when this nice young man who was trying to be helpful showed me where to find the sheets (they were inside the sofa bed) he and I noticed hair on top of the duvet and how the sheets did not appear to be clean. He was apologetic but said he was just doing a favor for his mother and was limited in how he could rectify the situation. He brought back the cover of a duvet and a clean pillowcase, and I used it to wrap myself around it so that I could take a nap. I reserved this studio the night before because I had an early check-in (~9am) and I was coming from the US so I needed to sleep a few hours, which was very hard to do with the bedding situation. I left the studio after my nap and then at around 4pm the lady who I presume was in charge of the place showed up with a vacuum cleaner. She vacuumed the floor and brought clean sheets and we used Google Translate to communicate. She was very sweet and extremely apologetic for the situation. People considering this accommodation should keep in mind that you will be sleeping in a very generic sofa bed in an extremely small studio apartment. Getting up and down the stairs to the door of the studio might be a problem for anyone with limited mobility. If you have back problems/aches, keep these things in mind.
