The Space:
Snow-dusted pines frame the view as you arrive, the mountain air crisp and quiet around you. Inside, warmth gathers quickly - firelight flickers, boots come off in the mudroom, and the rhythm of a winter retreat settles in. After a day on the slopes, steam rises from the hot tub as the valley below fades into evening, and the house feels made for slowing down.
The space
This multi-level townhouse sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms and three and a half baths, offering space to spread out while staying connected. Vaulted ceilings and large windows bring natural light into the main living area, where a wood-burning fireplace anchors cozy evenings after skiing or snowshoeing. A separate media den provides a relaxed spot for movies, while a dedicated workspace with desk, monitor, and office chair makes it easy to balance rest and focus.
Sleeping arrangements
The primary bedroom on the upper level features a king bed, gas fireplace, TV, and walk-in wardrobe. Its ensuite bathroom includes heated floors, a bathtub, a glass-enclosed shower, and a double vanity. A second upper-level bedroom offers a queen bed, generous natural light, and a private ensuite with a bathtub and shower. Downstairs, one bedroom has two twin beds, while another includes a tri-bunk with a double and single bed. A full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower serves this level, and a powder room on the main floor adds convenience.
Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is designed for easy, comfortable meals at home, with ample space to prepare and gather. Intermediate ski trails leading toward Lower Dave Murray and the Olympic downhill area are accessible on foot. Creekside’s gondola, shops, and restaurants are a short drive away, offering a convenient balance of mountain seclusion and village access.
Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. Parking is available for one vehicle in a covered carport. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
The Neighborhood:
Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.
Getting Around:
