Summary: When we initially arrived and went to the office for check in you could tell the person checking us in wanted nothing more than to not be there just based on the attitude and responses to my questions. We went to the room and the only issue at first was the smell, it was musty like the doors had been left open and everything was humid/moist inside. The rooms are very dated but that's not a big deal when you're staying someone for the sake of a bed and shower.
That said... if there were other hotel rooms available that evening we would've left. When we went to lay down, we pulled back the covers and fluffed the pillows up just to find several hairs in the sheets. I mean several. Long blonde/grey hairs, short black hairs... at first we thought maybe it was from the housekeeper but kept finding different shades/lengths. I ended up laying down some of my fiancé's clothes and wrapped the pillow in one of his shirts so I could lay down.
It was just run down and felt dirty. I wouldn't stay there again.

Summary: Everything was dated and I would have been ok with that, the problem was the mosquitos. I have never been bit that much at one time in my entire life. Invest in some CO2 traps or something would be my advice, unless you want death by mosquito avoid this place.

Summary: This is an older, family-owned property with great views in a prime location. It was a good central location for my family and I to explore. That being said, the housekeeping here leaves alot to be desired. At checkout, I was only offered apologies and excuses. To name a few, we found a plastic bottle cap under the fitted sheets, food in the fridge from previous guests, and don't bother to look under the beds. The staff is friendly and were accommodating with requests such as towels.
