Summary: This room was spacious with lots of light sources for creating a warm, calm evening mood or a bright working space. The tub was deep for soaking and the shower had strong water pressure. Slippers are provided and excellent bidet toilet with a strong flush. Good AC in the room. The windows throughout the hotel and room are frosted so you can't see out your windows, but plenty of natural light can still come through. The walls are thicker than standard too. One night, we had a family next door with multiple young kids screaming and literally bouncing off the walls (I can only imagine what was happening in there!). We heard muffled sounds, but when we opened the room door and went in the hallway, it was so loud! I was very impressed with how muffled it was from inside our room. We also couldn't hear any outside noise despite construction outside across the street. Overall, the street was not busy or loud though. It's a quiet neighborhood. There is a washer/dryer combo downstairs. You will need more drying time to completely dry your clothes. There is also ice and cold water available in the same room downstairs with a sleek clear acrylic pitcher provided in the room. This was great for refilling water bottles and making tea and coffee in the room. The hotel also offers lots of free toiletries in the room and on a table by the front desk. They also have umbrellas free to use by hotel guests. This was my favorite stay over all the cities we stayed in while on vacation in Japan.
