You are responsible for removing and replacing pool cover to keep heat in. Heat will drop drastically overnight if not kept covered and could take days to get back up to comfortable range. Heat may also be lost when pool needs to be shocked due to it can not be re-covered for a couple of hours after due to gasses in the chemicals.
