Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lovely view to the sea, with a pretty pool area. The rooms were large and spacious and the location was good as you're only a short walk to the beach. Although not many restaurants etc in the area there is a small convenience store nearby which doesn't come up on Google. It's open 24 hours and was a lifesaver for getting snacks and drinks etc. Despite being backed onto the jungle/forest, we never found a single bug or critter in our room which was a pleasant surprise.

Negative: If you're not planning on getting lots of taxis, there are only about 2 restaurants walking distance that are open in the evening all week. As non Portuguese speakers communication with staff was difficult. I don't expect them to speak English but a whatsapp message with key check in information would be useful so that we can translate it in our own time and know what's going on.
