Take a short 3 minute walk to Zest cafe, refresh with a great coffee, while there buy an aged steak from the butcher to sizzle on the BBQ. To top it off Taupo's finest restaurant, The Brantry is 4 mins walk away, you really are in the perfect location. Comfy bed and a sunny spot.

The Neighborhood:
The Bird Area in Taupo is a well sort after location, it offers proximity to the beach and town. Within 3 mins walk to Rifle Range shops and you have a Veggie shop, one of Taupo's best cafe's Zest, a butcher's (with fresh fish) and a grocery store, all are favourite's to the locals. The award winning restaurant, The Brantry has built its reputation on top quality New Zealand cuisine that is unique to Taupo, a must, if here for a celebration.
Getting Around:
Flat and an easy work to town and the beach.
Other Things to Note:
Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.
