Mountainview Lodge has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and sleeps 7 guests. It's a 3-level home with exterior entry stairs. The step count is high but your fitness level will improve! On the main level you have 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a full/twin bunkbed. These bedrooms share a full, hall bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen has an open-air design with tall ceilings and knotty-pine walls. A darling, tiled-in, wood-burning stove provides ambiance and additional warmth for cooler months. (Duraflame logs are preferred instead of real wood. This keeps safety and cleanliness better and more easily managed.) The kitchen is modern and cheerful with evergreen cabinets and country charm. It has a gas range/stove and is very well stocked with all dishes, pots and pans to satisfy the chef in your party. From simple snacks to gourmet meals, friends and family will be satiated and satisfied. The dining room has a polished-wood, 6-seat table with 2 bar stools for additional seating. Two sliding glass doors will get you out to the deck which has spectacular views. The deck faces north/east off the kitchen and wraps around to the north/west, offering long views all the way to Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks! This space is very usable from morning to evening for your first cup of coffee to your last sip of wine. Comfortable seating and a cute, little bar offers choices to everyone gathering outside to enjoy Arizona’s finest vistas. There is a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Propane is provided. Let’s go downstairs! This is where the fun begins. Child/dog safety gates are provided at the top of carpeted staircase to keep young children or pets from accessing the game room stairs. The lower level has a cozy couch and cow-print chairs around a large Smart TV. Smart TVs are a technological convergence of computers, televisions, and digital media players. A Smart TV can access the internet via Wi-Fi whereas a normal TV would need a separate device. A Smart TV also has built-in apps that are ready to login to with a subscription. (The main difference between a Smart TV and normal TV is that a Smart TV is smarter than a normal TV. Haha!) Sling TV has been set-up for complimentary Live TV. A mini wet-bar with sink and fridge will keep you from running up and down the stairs as you relax with your favorite beverage, movie or sports program. You can sit at the bar or may choose the darling whiskey barrel table. A pool table is in the adjoining room with another small, Smart TV and full bathroom with a walk-in shower. A sturdy dog crate is provided to keep pets safe and confined if unattended or sleeping. Another slider leads you outside to a concrete patio with tables and chairs. Games and puzzles are provided for family entertainment. The Primary Suite is on the upper level with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. This attractive bedroom has a cute little, south-facing deck for stolen moments in the early morning or late at night. The bathroom is spacious with walk-in shower and double-vanity sink. Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, A/C and Central Heat bring modern conveniences to country living. Mountainview Lodge has a well that is supplemented with hauled water in a tank.
