Summary: This house has a misleading description and pictures. The house is quite new and has unfinished work. There was an unfinished hole in the ceiling of the master and the downstairs shower handle was incorrectly installed and would not turn on. There were several pieces of furniture that were incorrectly assembled, including lamps that had wires sticking out and chairs with only 3 legs. There were wires coming out of the wall in the breakfast nook and a water pipe sticking out of the kitchen backsplash. On top of all of this, the couch was filthy and the sheets in 3 of the beds had hair all over them, and the floor had hair and insulation all over it. The downstairs TV was missing as well and there were pictures that had fallen off the walls and been left down. The garage was full of garbage and recycling and the bins were full and there was a small pile of trash in the back yard. We contacted the host immediately but got no response other than “sorry for your inconvenience”. We contacted VRBO for mediation and received no response from the host. The location is great, but I would avoid this one, particularly since it is at a high end price and the host is unwilling to work to fix issues.
