4 Bedroom House in Lindfields, Kissimmee
Genuinely located less than 5 miles from Disney World Florida (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios), our luxury 4-bedroom villa in prestigious Lindfields, is fully equipped for 8 people and provides an excellent base for your holiday. Our beautiful villa, recently refurbished, is of classic open plan design which keeps it light and airy. Fully air-conditioned, the villa consists of two floors with high cathedral ceilings on the ground floor. It has 4 bedrooms, with the Master bedroom and en-suite on the ground floor and three further bedrooms on the first floor.
The Master bedroom has a huge 6ft wide bed and looks out onto the large swimming pool and extended pool deck. The swimming pool faces south and so enjoys sunshine all day. The Master bedroom is large and a new soft luxurious carpet. The whole of the ground floor aside from the Master bedroom and en-suite, benefits from a new quality ceramic floor, which helps to keep the villa cool during the long summer months. Three of the four bedrooms, Master bedroom (Super King bed), double bedroom (King size bed) and one of the twins have been fitted with completely new furniture.
As parents of four children, we understand the value of having three of the bedrooms upstairs! The older members of the family can enjoy the amenities downstairs without disturbing the younger members of the family tucked up in bed upstairs.
The villa benefits from two bathrooms and a half-bathroom. The Master en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, bath, new toilet, vanity unit, huge mirror with new over the mirror lighting, twin sinks and a large towel closet. We have replaced the lighting in all three bathrooms as part of the many upgrades to the villa.
The family bathroom is on the first floor and consists of a bath with a shower over it, new shower curtain (2018) vanity unit and toilet.
The half bathroom is on the ground floor, which is very convenient for guests. New navy bath towels purchased September 2018.
There are two, large comfortable lounge areas. The front lounge has three newly replaced sofas, large coffee table, large TV unit, huge flat screen wall-mounted 50” TV, DVD player, many DVDs, internet WIFI, lamp tables and new lampshades.
The rear lounge area has a huge, comfortable 7-seat sofa and guests sitting there look directly out onto the pool and pool deck. Easy gliding patio doors lead directly from the rear lounge onto the pool deck enveloped with daytime sunshine due to its south-facing aspect.
The ground floor also has a dining area with a large 6-seat dining table and matching chairs with padded cushions. There is also a breakfast nook which directly overlooks the pool and pool and pool deck and consists of a large table and 6 chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need if you chose to cook a meal rather than go out to eat. We have replaced all the large electrical appliances with new top-quality ones, and includes a huge fridge/freezer with built-in ice cube/crushed ice/chilled water dispenser, dishwasher and a cavernous oven and hob. There is ample cutlery, crockery, cooking pots and pans, oven dishes, baking pans etc., there are even food weighing scales, egg slicer and grater.
All bedding, towels (bath and beach), tea towels are supplied, so there is no need to bring any with you.
The garage is huge and can accommodate the largest of cars and many guests park their cars in it, in order to keep them cool. Outside there is a large driveway capable of fitting two cars side by side.
The villa is surrounded by well kept gardens consisting of lawn and shrubs and it maintained weekly by our wonderful gardener.
The villa is set on a large plot of land, set well back from both the road and from neighbouring properties; unlike many in Florida.
The key feature of our beautiful villa is the stunning large south-facing swimming pool. The large pool benefits from a extended pool deck with plenty of modern patio furniture. There are three sun loungers, 6 patio chairs of which 2 recline, two footstools, all with luxury cushions, new patio table and three parasols (for those occasions when you want to get out of the hot Florida sun). The swimming pool really is stunning and was fully re-lined in 2017, when we also had a handrail installed for the benefit of our guests. The large pool deck is a huge advantage because it provides plenty of space for all the guests. The swimming pool is pretty special because unusually for pools in the area, it has a 6ft deep end (most are only 5ft deep), it has gentle steps built into the side of the pool making it very easy to enter and exit the pool, especially with the new handrail. At the deep end, there is a swimaway; a platform below the water, which is great fun. The shallow end is 3ft deep, so ideal for small children. There is usually a choice of inflatables and a with a foot pump
The Disney World, Universal Studios, Volcano World are within easy reach of the villa as are shopping, restaurants, bars and many golf courses . Our villa is close to many of Florida's finest golf courses including Champions Gate, which is home to two premier 18-hole championship golf courses. So whether you want to be thrilled at the theme parks, enjoy playing golf, shop at the Designer Outlet stores, or simply take a dip in the pool and soak up the sunshine from dawn to dusk, our villa is the perfect base. Our villa has no rear neighbours and because of its generous plot size and landscaping, you will find it private and peaceful, except for the sights and sounds of the wildlife in and around the lake and our many reviews testify to this statement. The many upgrades to the villa include a new pool heat pump in Jan. 2013, ceramic floor tiles throughout the entire ground floor, with the exception of the Master bedroom which was newly carpeted in 2018, and the pool was completely re-lined in 2016 with a stunning finish. A safety handrail was also installed in 2016 for the convenience of our guests of all ages.
The villa benefits from a 24/7 monitored alarm. There is also an electronic keypad entry to the front door, so no need to search for keys late at night. The porch light automatically comes on at night, as do the lights over the garage in the front of the villa to welcome guest’s home.
We have an excellent management company who can be contacted by telephone who help deal with any questions. Guests can also contact us by email if they have any queries and we, the owners pride ourselves in providing a speedy response.
Yes, the theme parks are great fun for young and old but there is something very special about sitting around our pool either on a sunny day or relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine or soda. The fact that the villa is widely spaced from neighbouring villas and the addition of hedges, shrubs and fences provide complete privacy. You can lounge around in the pool area without anyone watching you from their pool (a surprisingly difficult situation to achieve with Florida villas!). All of this and a fantastic, uninterrupted view of the lake and its wildlife, and the vast conservation area on three sides of the lake; for us, utopia.
