Imagine settling into a lovely cottage with a large covered porch, less than a minute walk from a big community pool and an easy 5 minute walk to a deeded beach access where you can relax and set up your beach gear - all at a reasonable rate. Because we have a deeded beach access, our local beach is quieter than many beaches, which is particularly important during peak seasons.
You'll find that our rates are among the best you'll find, especially given that Key Lime has been recently renovated. You may be wondering why we can offer great rates even though our cottages are freshly renovated with updated furnishings (We also own the Good Life Cottage next door - VRBO Listing 25160). LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage and its equally charming twin cottage next door, The Good Life, are located at the Cottages at Camp Creek, a small, quiet, peaceful-even-during-peak-seasons, family-friendly coastal community of charming Old Florida style cottages with tin roofs and large covered front porches - perfect for relaxing any time of year. Nestled in the sand lush native dune environment with sand oaks and palmettos and far from fast food, high-rises, and highways, this cottage is only 200 yards (5 minute walk) from a Blue Wave certified beach (which means they are clean and responsibly managed) known for high dunes, fine white sand, and emerald water. Key Lime Cottage is so close to the beach, there is no need for shuttles, golf carts, or parking (which is quite limited during peak seasons). In addition to our deeded beach access where you can set up and relax on the beach, the cottage is only 1/3 mile (15 minute walk) from a public beach access as well. The cottage has two private parking spaces next to the cottage.
Located along Scenic 30A (a 15-mile winding beach road), this spacious and sunny one-story cottage is in a prime location, just steps from the pristine 7500 square foot pool yet not right on top of the pool so you can enjoy quiet and privacy on your large fully-furnished front porch that looks over a peaceful little yard surrounded by pretty native plants and trees. The large porch is particularly handy on rainy days when you want to be outside and enjoy the rain from the comfort of the porch, and it's great to have the pool close by, especially on days when the ocean is too rough for swimming. As you can see from the location map, Key Lime is also one of the larger one-story cottages and is one of the closest cottages to the beach, with the Timpoochee Trail - a 17-mile paved walking, running and biking trail - across the street.
As you can see from our guests' reviews, we take very good care of our guests and cottages, and we furnish and equip our cottage to feel like a comfortable and very well equipped beach home rather than a vacation rental. A travel writer who stayed at our cottages for a wedding wrote a newspaper article saying that our cottages are "tastefully decorated with many personal touches and immaculate." Furnished in a casual and modern beach cottage style, the dining and living area opens to a large porch furnished as an outdoor room with a dining area, as well as a comfortable seating area by a small private yard with a private gas grill. The living room (with large flat screen smart TV), dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen have hardwood floors, and plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing, reading or watching movies, playing games, and doing puzzles together. We also provide free wireless Internet.
The newly renovated kitchen features natural warm wood cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and ample storage. The cabinets and drawers are filled with plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, cookware, and more (including a crockpot, waffle maker, electric grill, toaster, blender) and fun plastic beachy plates, bowls, and glasses. You'll have everything you need to feed 2 or 12 people! There is a full-size dishwasher, washer, and dryer at the cottage. Just so you know that we keep our cottages up-to-date, in addition, the air conditioner/furnace and water heaters are new as well. Although you can't see these types of upgrades, you can certainly feel them!
When you want time alone, retreat to the privacy of your bedroom decorated in a charming seaside style. All are comfortably furnished with high-quality fresh cotton quilts that are changed after every guest, smart TVs, and full length room-darkening drapes for our guests who like to sleep in or take a sweet nap in the afternoon. One bedroom has a king bed and a private travertine-tiled full bathroom. The two other bedrooms (one has a queen bed and the other has a bunk bed). There is a second bathroom with a travertine shower and travertine floors.
We have many repeat guests because our guests appreciate the 'extra touches' and attention to detail that we provide in our cottages, We include beach chairs and plenty of puzzles, games, books and more for the youngest to oldest guests. We make it easy for our guests to stay organized by providing plenty of hooks on the walls in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallway; renovated closets with hanging spaces as well as cubbies for easy storage, and hampers in the bedrooms. We know these types of details matter, especially when travelling with families.

Important Details: As noted above, we cannot have pets in the cottage because we have family members and guests with serious pet allergies. At least one guest booking and staying at the cottage must be at least 25 years old because this is a family-friendly community. No smoking. Parking of RVs, motor boats, and jet skis are not allowed in this community. These rules are enforced by our association, as well as by the rental agency, to ensure that all guests have a safe and relaxing vacation.
