Wendigo lake is full of adventures. It’s known for the “Wendigo chain” where people take their kayaks or canoes, on a 2 day trip portaging to larder lake and back. It’s also a home of beautiful waterfalls, and access to numerous other lakes.
The lake is full of trout, pike, bass and walleye, with many great spots for fishing. There is access to a boat launch just across the bay, and a short walk from the cottage. There is also space to park one boat on shore at the cottage.
The waterfront is a perfect swim spot, with a sandy rocky bottom and a drop off into deeper water.
Inside the cottage, there is a beautiful large lake front view. The cottage is fully refinished except the back bedroom - pictures show this. The cottage has one bathroom, 2 bedrooms (7 beds) and an open concept kitchen and living room space.
Dishes, towels, and bedding are included. As well as the basics, salt, pepper, paper towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc.
The cottage is a dog friendly space and we have many neighbouring fur friends that visit often.
There is parking available for 2 cars.
