Springfield is a lovely residential area just 4.5km from the Rotorua CBD. The local shops are just a 2min walk from the house where you will find a convienience store, a great bakery and a few other handy shops.
The Redwoods Forest is an easy ride from the house as are many other attractions including Te Puia and Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village.
Other Things to Note:
The house is a Lockwood (timber construction) and as such, it does make noises as the timber heats up and cools down. Don't be alarmed by these sounds, it is just the timber expanding and contracting and is totally normal for this type of construction.
