Summary: Bed bugs!!! In room 411. My traveling partner got bitten several times, and I found a very fat one that I squished and blood spurted everywhere! It was gross. We finally got another room at about 3 am. Full credit to the hotel staff, who were very nice and helpful, and the room was not used the next night, so they did take us seriously. Apparently this is not that uncommon in Paris. Hard to get to the hotel by car, (it’s in a travel restricted area), and there was lots of laundry (clean and dirty) in the stairwells.
