Located 35 minutes from the Grand Canyon south rim entrance, enjoy the countryside in comfort in this single level, 3000 sq. ft. home featuring 3 huge master bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets, 2 living areas, a large kitchen and covered porch with outdoor dining. Perfect for large groups. Nestled on 36 Acres. You'll experience wildlife and star gazing, as well as games and entertainment for the whole family!
The Space:
While our home is off the grid and powered by the sun, we offer all the amenities of a modern house. It is in a quiet and rural neighborhood just a few miles down a dirt road off the main Highway 64, giving you the feeling of complete privacy yet being so close to the Grand Canyon. The star gazing here is world class!
Guest Access:
Guests will have the entire house and property to themselves.
The Neighborhood:
Located on a working ranch dotted with private homes, you may see free-range cattle at times. Just drive around them!
Other Things to Note:
Please DO NOT use Google maps to navigate. Please use the directions provided. We ask that you do not enter onto private property to ask for directions. Our neighbors are friendly but like to enjoy their privacy.
The house is in a convenient location to access the Grand Canyon but there are minimal restaurants and stores nearby. We recommend stopping in Williams or Flagstaff to buy groceries on the way to the house. If you're arriving from the Grand Canyon, there's a great market in Tusayan between the house and the park.
The house is 5 minutes off of the highway on a gravel road. The road is regularly maintained but can get a little bumpy sometimes. It's easily passable by any vehicle, but you may have to drive a little slower sometimes.
The house is located in a quiet HOA. Please respect the neighbors and HOA by following these rules:
1. Observe speed limit (25 mph) on HOA roads while driving and if operating ATV's/UTV's and no sharp turns or erratic driving that would damage the roads.
2. No loud noise, especially past 10pm.
3. No exterior fires during fire restrictions. No large fires at any time. Use the provided fire pit with cover for any outdoor fires.
4. Dogs must be leashed when not on the property
5. No firing of weapons.
6. No fireworks.
Violations may be subject to fines.
Interaction with Guests:
I'm available by phone or text if/when the guest needs anything or has questions. We make sure to have our house binder full of all the information a guest might need about the house so that they can be empowered to work through any issues they might have. In the event of a medical emergency, please dial 911 from your phone.
