Bring your kayak/canoe/ paddle board or fishing boat and launch two minutes down the road on the Ausable River. Ready for beach days? You are 3 minutes drive to Pinery Provincial Park, 5 minutes to Port Franks and 10 minutes to Ipperwash or Grand Bend central and the world renowned beaches of Lake Huron. For the adventurer you’ll find fishing and parasail charters, helicopter rides, fly fishing, sea doo, kayak paddle board and surfboard rentals available. Within a 10 minutes drive in any direction are numerous golf courses, cider houses and wineries or if a slower pace is preferred, unwind at one of several area spas, walk a lama or take a yoga class! At the end of your day enjoy a late dinner and take in a glorious sunset at the beach. Winter here has its own special magic…. groomed snowmobile trails, cross country skiing and snow shoe trails within minutes from the house! Take a walk along the shores of the many beaches and see the beauty of the ice building along the shores. Pinery provincial park is open all season with cross country ski trails and hiking trails. Did we mention the free day pass to the Pinery included in your stay? There is an abundance of dining choices close by with something for every palate. Most restaurants offer take out and at home delivery options. There are several grocery stores close by and local taxi service if you don’t want to drive.
This cozy cottage is situated on a gorgeous 1/2 acre lot surrounded by beautiful mature oak and pine trees:. The main level is an open floor plan with living room, large modern kitchen with plenty of counter space, stainless appliances (fridge/freezer, stove with overhead microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, air fryer and insta-pot), the upper level has one bedroom with new queen size bed and four piece bathroom. There is free unlimited wifi /internet and a 55 inch smart tv in the living room and 32” smart tv in the bedroom). Patio doors off the living room provides access to the large deck and lovely pergola, propane barbecue and 10 x10 covered gazebo with dining area! The lower level rec room is recently renovated (2022) with a beautiful linear gas fireplace,. There is a large 2nd bedroom with queen bed and a three piece bathroom with laundry area. In the summer season we offer the bunkie option for an additional fee. The bunkie has high ceilings and lots of windows with a single over double bunk bed, bistro set and mini fridge.. There is so much to see and do here that a weekend or even a week is not enough time and will leave you longing to return to our little oasis in Lambton shores…you will make memories that last a life time!❤️.
