Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location is superb, walking distance to good restaurants and commerce as well as some of the tourist attractions. The studio flat is spacious and the facilities are fine. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Negative: As I like reading in bed, there should be a lamp by the bed. In general, pillows and linen were not of good quality - I had to borrow from friends as it was possible to sleep the first night, but not the whole week. I do not know how cold the flat would be in the Winter - but did notice that there are no forms of heating. While it is nothing to do with the studio flat, There is a tourist attraction in Teresópolis that is extremely irritating: a 'train' for kids that circulates around the neighbourhood making the hell of noise twice every hour over weekends. Nuissance.

Summary: Perfect place to run away from the heat and noise of carnival in Rio
