We just fully renovated the main floor of our beautiful 1940s home to create our own beach getaway, only an hour or two from the city! We put a lot of effort and love into re-designing this home and choosing unique decorations that speak to both the local landscape on the Sunshine Coast, and my Ontario cottage-country roots.
The house is across the street from a very charming and convenient new market that has a butcher (try their hamburgers!), a fish market, produce store, coffee shop, florist, restaurant (with great breakfast sandwiches!) and marine discovery centre. Behind the market is access to the public beach and marina. The house has some peak-a-boo ocean views.
It's about a 5 minute walk to the main street in town with shops and restaurants.
