General description
Le Cerisier is part of a delightfully converted hay barn (with Le Pommier) offering premium quality accommodation for 4, in one king size bedroom (with additional child bed, if required) and one twin room. Large garden with plenty of room for children to play outdoor games, play park and access to Gym and Sauna. It has been sympathetically converted to retain many of its original features, including the original bread oven, and has exposed stone walls and wooden beams throughout. It also features a large 13m x 6m heated pool with a shallow end depth which is ideal for children, as well as a gym, sauna and Table Tennis table.
Lots to do on site with large heated pool to relax by in the summer months or a perfect place to explore local attractions and activities, with water sports and beach at the nearby lake, La Rochefoucauld town with its own Chateau and so much more!
The property is south-facing and therefore benefits from sunshine throughout the day and has stunning views from both the first floor bedrooms and the ground floor patio area, across the large garden and Charente countryside beyond.
The large poolside summer terrace provides a welcome shaded area to dine al fresco or just to relax in the hammock with a book. Equipped with fridge, iPod docking station, sink, sofa, patio table and chairs, dart board, changing facilities and wc, it is the ideal place to relax whilst still being able to supervise the children having fun in the pool.

Combined kitchen/diner which retains many quality features including the original bread oven . All Bosch appliances including, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Door directly onto south facing terrace.

Living room has ample comfortable seating - three seater sofa and two arm chairs - Chromecast, Music Speaker, dvd player and UK Freesat tv channels. Door on to south facing patio area.
Bedrooms
Well proportioned king size master bedroom has premium quality en suite shower room with large (120 x 80cm) shower and twin wash hand basins. Full length glass doors (with ornamental safety rail) with views to the south over the garden and Charente countryside beyond.

Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom.
The master bedroom has a large shower room with smoke-grey tiling, twin wash hand basins and large 120 x 80 cm shower. The twin bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath and in-bath shower. Both have sloping ceilings, exposed wooden beams, Velux windows and frosted panel doors to the bedrooms.

If required, centrally controlled electrical heating is available in all rooms, and the bathrooms have heated towel rails.

Large flatscreen HD tv with UK freesat channels, Google Chromecast for streaming, dvd player with a comprehensive selection of dvds, iPod docking station and radio. Dart board on summer terrace and table tennis area.
Garden and outside
Le Cerisier has a south facing terrace which can be covered by an electrically operated sunshade. It has its own patio table, chairs and gas bbq (gas provided). The large garden is mostly laid to grass with a volleyball/badminton net, football mini-goals and 14ft trampoline (with safety net) available to all guests. The large (13 x 6m) heated pool has sunloungers and 2 large pergolas providing shade. It is overlooked by the large summer terrace, which is equipped with hammock, sofa, fridge, iPod docking station, dining tables and chairs and a dart board. Adjacent to the summer terrace is the table tennis area with Cornilleau outdoor table. There is also a petanque (boules) court and croquet lawn in the garden.
Enclosed kiddies play area with climbing frame, slide, swings and rope ladder.
Parking and garages
Ample parking is available adjacent to the gite and additional, indoor, parking may also be available, if required.
