Tropical Sands Resort is a 39-unit Resort on Estero Island. The resort offers spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 1350 square foot condominiums. Each unit also has a washer and dryer in the unit, smart TVs, full kitchen supplies, linens, and more. Amenities on property include heated outdoor pool, 8 seat spa (under construction), work out room (under construction), onsite activities and much much more.
Tropical Sands Resort offers both weekly rentals and ownership opportunities. Visitors can rent a week for reasonable rates. The resort has a Saturday-to-Saturday check in procedure with a two-night minimum stay. Guests checking in must meet the minimum age requirement of 23. Tropical Sands Resort is located near many tourist attractions including the beach, great restaurants, the Thomas Edison Home and spring training for major league baseball. • The resort offers free parking (one space per booked unit).
Things to know
• The front office is open Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
• Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00pm.
• Gym hours are 9:00 am to 4:30pm.
• A $500 pre-authorization damage deposit is collected at check in. Upon inspection after check out, if no damage is found the authorization will be reversed/cancelled. If there is damage that is found the amount of the damages will be held and the remaining difference will be refunded back to the card on file.
• The exterior or the pool complex is gated which includes the pool, hot tub, grills and lounging area for guests.
• The Beach is 1 1/2 blocks through a public path across Estero Blvd from the Resort. There is a Bird Sanctuary there and the Shelling is usually very good.
• Potential for noise
• Daily maid service is not provided. If you are staying for longer than one week, the Housekeeping Staff will do a stay over cleaning service for you. Weekly room cleanings on Saturdays are being conducted.
• There are 4 gas grills conveniently located in the common area for your use.
• Port-A-Cribs – Are available for rent. The cribs are height adjustable and have pads included. There are also sheets and blankets available in the office. Also available for rent are high chairs. Rental rates for cribs are $3.00 per day ($15.00 per week). Rental rates for high chairs are $2.00 per day ($12.00 per week).
• Games and videos are available in the Main Office. Video rentals are $1.00, books and magazines are located on the Second Floor Meeting Room Library.
• Weekly meet-n-greet meetings available with free coffee and donuts for guests of the resort that are noticed by each guest.
• Ft Myers Beach (Estero Island) is without a doubt a beautiful island. Yet there are several things that most visitors are not familiar with. Although rare, there are potential concerns while vacationing here, and it is wise to be familiar with them.
