The cottage is a waterfront property with almost 1 acre on Balsam Lake with a large sandy beach for your family to relax in. Balsam Lake is a large lake on the Trent Severn waterway, with all types of boating experiences available. Great for fishing. Gradual shallow entry to lake is great for kids. Large newly renovated kitchen and complete main level in 2019 with large dining area with lakeview.
The large property is great for families to enjoy lots of activities. During the day, enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming (some children water toys are included), birdwatching, a volleyball/badminton net, and bocci ball with the family. At night, enjoy a warm campfire (campfire pit is on property) and stargazing on the dock.
Motor boat rental is available from several marinas in the area. Balsam Lake Provincial Park is very close by with great beach area. Waterski and wakeboard camps are available by local marina.
