Kawagama Lake is located on the northwest border of Haliburton and Muskoka counties, lying predominantly in the Algonquin Highlands Township. Only a short drive from Lake of Bays and Dorset, Lake Kawagama is often seen as one of the area's best kept secrets, and boasts the cleanest and clearest water in all of Ontario! 60% of the lake has been deemed Crown Land, allowing for vast stretches of undeveloped land along the water's edge. Only 25 minutes to Robinson's General Store in Dorset, 35 minutes to Dwight, and 1 hour to Huntsville and Bracebridge for restaurants, quaint shops and amenities!
PROPERTY
NORTH STAR - Beautiful stepping stones lead you around this cottage. An expansive deck with glass railings wraps around to almost the full lakeside. The deck includes a sitting area as well as a table with umbrella and seating for 8. Off to left of the deck is a beautiful outdoor cedar shower. Steps lead down to a lovely back yard with a gently sloped grassy lawn leading to the lake and dock. Following the stones and making your way to the water, you will find a Firepit surrounded by chairs, a picnic table and two hammocks between trees right at lake. Also at the waters edge is a lake shed with life jackets and additional fridge. The long dock allows for all day sun and for those who like to swim out to their tanning spot on the lake there is a floating swim dock anchored about 20 feet from the dock.
