2 Bedroom Cottage in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, Kintail
This original Kintail Beach cottage was built in approx. 1940 and includes a beautiful beach stone fireplace. Thoughtful renovations have been recently completed to provide comfort in an incredibly unique space. Kintail beach is about 100 steps from the cottage and you will be amazed to hear the sound of the waves from every room! Catch glimpses of the lake and sunsets from the many windows throughout the cottage or cozy up by the new propane fireplace.

The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms. The upper level of the cottage is accessed by a unique wooden spiral staircase (not suitable for young children). The upper level has a Master bedroom (1 Queen bed) with a large lounge chair, ottoman and electric fireplace. The newly renovated bathroom is also located on the upper level which has a relaxing rain shower.
On the main level there is a dining area, living area with propane fireplace (for those chilly evenings), kitchen and second bedroom.
The second bedroom has built in bunk beds with a twin bed on the top and a double bed on the bottom.
The newly renovated kitchen is very well equipped and provides access to a small deck with a Weber propane BBQ.
There is a 46" TV and DVD player with a good collection of DVD's. A portable bluetooth speaker is provided for playing music.
In the entryway of the cottage there is a large sideboard that contains adult and kids board games, puzzles, cards, first aid kit, bandaids, flashlights, flameless candles and more!
Outside is small firepit and outdoor dining set for 4.
Notes:
-There is no WiFi at the property.
-Parking for 1 vehicle on the property.
-Currently we do not provide linens, however we do provide duvets, pillows and throw blankets.
-We ask that you bring your own sheets, towels, tea towels, and bath mats.
-Some essentials will be provided to get you started (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towel, salt, pepper, condiments, cooking oil)
-there are small space heaters and portable fans for use during your stay.
-propane for the BBQ is included.
